11- Falcon (2018-2019)

First day of class
Pinag linis ko muna sila, I just wanna know kng masunurin ba sila or not
But it turns out na masunurin sila

My subject is Oral Communication
First meet up namin, I told them na I’m half Australian half Pinoy, that “ I can’t understand Filipino” (I’m new sa school so no one knows me)
and i can’t believe it works.
(I just want them to practice English lng nmn )

They work as a team, mejo na tiwala ako because they are very creative and participative.
(Insip ko n bka sa umpisa lng)

Then as time passed by, naging panatag loob ko sa kanila, the point na iniwan Ko na ung phone ko sa table and they do random selfie

Then I created a logo nila, para to have branding, and para kakaiba narin, then one students told me sa gc namin
“ser bat ganun parang boysen”
Me: w/o knowing anu b logo ng boysen.
Then dinownload ko, imbis mainis ako, natawa ko ng sobra kc may point sya

Then nag turo ako sa kanila for months dun ko nakita kng san sila hirap, pronunciation, grammar, and reading comprehension. then (fast forward) dumating ung exam date.
Mahigpit ako mag pa exam kc I want to know kng May natutunan ba sila or wala.

During the exam date, pinatayo ko lahat sila then inarrange ko sila, Pinag layo layu ko sila, kc possible n baka mag kopyahan. Then dun nila nlaman na mahigpit ako mag pa exam, I told them sa college mas mahirap at mas mahigpit pa. (FYI SHS sila)

Then eventually one student biglang nag salita “SER? Question” anu ibig Sabihin ng “PATIJU” then ako nmn “HUH?"
Student: Anu meaning ng PATIJU?
Mejo kinabahan ako kc wala sa vocabs ko, muntik ko na kwestionin amg Major ko, the me approaching him, Where?

What number? (Lahat ng classmates nya patay malisya, focus sa exam)
Then the student pointed out the word then di ko na napigilan sarili ko
ang sabi ko “ANUNG PATIJU, FATIGUE YAN BALIW” then lahat nag tawagan kc sila din napaisip.

Then that’s the funniest day of his life nakita ko sa muka nya na natawa din sya sa sarili nya
Then dun ko na pag tanto na kailangang bigyan ng focus ung kabilang vocabs.

After the exam, syempre tawagan ng grades for teachers, and dun ko rin nalaman ung best sa class, so I gave them certificates, para sa kanilang hard work.

So after card giving, I told them right away ung kabilang dapat gawin for the second sem, I told them na ang kabilang final exam ay Speech Writing and Speech Presentation, so I told them the mechanics and grouped them.

October is the month long celebration ng world teachers’ day Di nmn ako nag eexpect ng Kung ano from them, kc sa dati kong school world teachers' day is just an ordinary day, kaya na sanay na ko. so sa akin parang wala lng.

Then October 5, 2018 kng anu anu nang natatangap ko from different sections na hawak ko. Chocolates, letters, flowers and even garments and they are very thoughtful.

Meron ding Tinatawag na “Little teacher” sa school na kung saan I’m not familiar so nag tanung ako sa students.
(Yes! Walang masama kng mag tatanung ka sa students pa minsan minsan tao ka rin ) so sabi nila someone na may potential to be the little me.

Malaking tulong sila sakin kc napilay ako sa school dahil sa inorganize na sports events sa school for teachers’ day i was assigned to play volleyball kc walang mag lalaro so ako nmn ok lng kc second Major ko ang P.E. Kaya marunong tayu sa mga sports

They even wrote a banner to cheer me up

So ayun n nga habang nasa faculty room ako biglang may bumaba at sinabi sakin na "May nag suntukan daw”
Ako naman dahil teachers’ day nag pretend “Sino nmn” si anton daw at colico, ako nmn, suuuussss Di kau magagling umarte, Laos na yan.
“Tara na”

Habang paakyat sa 4th floor tinanung ko na sila, oh anu ba surprise nyo? Sabi nila “si sir Naman ee nakaka inis” sabay tawa Sabi ko “noon pa kc modus yang kunwari May nag suntukan, panahon pa namin, wala ba kayung bago?”
Then...

Then we ate together.
at gutom na gutom sila

At eto ang araw na artista kami ng mga teacher kasi kaliwa’t kanan ang mag papapicture. “sakit sa panga”

(Fast forward) balik ACADS sila, Accountancy, Business and Management strand nila so isa sa kanilang goal ay manalo sa ABM week, nakita ko ung hard work and dedication nila sa event nato kaya nmn, eto ang naging results

After ABM week, sabi ko sa kabila Speech presentation nmn pag handa an nila kc dto ko kukunin malaking percent ng grade nila, so kaliwa’t kanan ang Nah papacheck. Then dumating na ung unang mag ppresent.

Ayun n nga, I gave them the highest possible grade na pwedeng ibigay sa kanila, then after ng exam for second sem, card giving na and with honors.

As Christmas break approaches we've decided to have a little thanks giving party for everyone. (Showcasing their talents)

Before the thanksgiving party happens mag flashback muna tayo.
Nagkaroon ng field trip sa school,
ang pupuntahan dapat nila ay Enchanted Kingdom, pero dahil ayaw nilang sumama at mag thanks giving party nalang daw eto ang naging Amats nla

After Christmas break, lahat meron pang hung over ng bakasyon, then napansin nila na bago ung phone ko, kaya habang Hindi ko Alam, tinadtad nanaman nila ng selfies ung phone ko. Here are the samples.

Since tapos na sila sa Oral Com nag palit na ung subject to Reading and Writing skills, I asked them to do stuff to develop their skills.

I asked them to buy books, write their own journal, movie analysis and more.

Tapos this was our first activity in relation to reading month, to encourage other students to read more, esp JHS.

One night biglang nagkagulo sila sa gc
About sa Research Presentation nila, bukas na daw, tapos nung tinanung ko ung mag tittle ng research nila, parang Essay ang datingan so ang ginawa namin, nirevise namin ung tittle agad agad. Tanung ko bat ganito to?

Sagot nila: di kc namin maintindihan si mam ee
so I gave them a plan, sabi ko sa kanila busugin nlng ang panellist at bigyan ng token, panalangin nila na isa ako sa kunin para ako hihila ng grades nila, so un na nga

final written output nila ay gumawa ng resume, I gave them my own resume format, para gayahan nila.
Then ang final performance task nila at mag undergo ng interview sa mga ABM and English teachers.

They applied to a managerial position (kunware) cause their ABM students, then pag na hired sila, they will have an opportunity to have a performance grade of 100 and experience din nilang mag interview (as a MANAGER).

Then eto n nga ung mag na hired as MANAGER nag interview sila ng bang sections na hawak ko na none ABM strand and it went well.

Eto din ung time na nalaman nila kng sino ung mag with honors sa class, some of the students I added sa with honors ay really well deserved kaya sa sobrang saya nila gumawa sila ng vlog sa phone kong Hindi ko alam.

We've had our first home Visitation on the spot, sa mga classmates nila, this was also my first Time na mag home visit, parents are very accomodating tlaga sa teachers, they don't even believe that, couse I look young DAW

And dumating ung time n pinaka proud ako, the Recognition day, I've got 17 with honors, (more than half of the class) kulang pa sila Jan kc ung iba nag uwian na

But the best part is, natuloy din ung pinaplano naming swimming, nag Splash Iland kami, d nga lng lahat nka sama pero still kita sa mag muka namin ang saya

Sabi nila gawa daw kami ng video. Kasama namin dto si ser Mic ang aking co adviser sa section Falcon

Dipa jan natapos ang lahat nakailang beses gaming swimming sa king saan saan

Kahit di na nila ako ang adviser nila ng Grade 12 dahil napunta na sila sa ibat ibang section, they still remember us ni sir @salazar_micael sa twing may mag bibirthday. (Sayang din kc libre main )

I made this thread to remind them na kahit anong struggle sa pag aaral wag kalimutang maging memorable ang bawat sandali, because life is short.

Ngayung college na kayu baunin nyo ung mag lessons na napulot nyo sa SHS, because I'm very excited that one day sasabihin nyo sakin na, Sir ako to, student mo nung G11-Falcon,
natupad ko na po ung mag pangarap ko
