Hello, friends! While we’re not celebrating the impending release of #12 like I had hoped, we’re still a little less than two weeks away from BLACK CAT’s first anniversary! I thought we should count down to June 5 and give the team some recognition!

Today we’re going to start strong with three posts for the folks who have been there for every issue.

Let’s start with Brian Reber ( @rebervision) who has been with us from the start and coloured every issue so far! All the artists so far have put Brian through his paces, and he’s risen to the occasion with every panel, bringing life and depth to the world!

Similarly, @ferrandelgado has lettered every issue, from the very first to ones you haven’t seen yet! Ferran’s creative touch with the letters (and there’s a lot of letters) has given a real voice to the characters on the page.

Over 12 issues, we’ve seen (I think) over 20 covers by superstars @JScottCampbell and @Sabine_rich- is there anyone out there with all of them (excluding 11-12)? People love J. Scott’s Felicia! This is one is my favourite:

Travel Foreman led the charge, introducing us to our recurring cast in #1. Travel really hit with some of the weirder and gribbly stuff, from the strangeness of the Sanctum to Blastaar’s crew of neg-zone goons, and I love his sense of action and impact.

Nao Fuji ( @_nao_fuj) joined us in #1 to tell a tale of Felicia and her feline pals, and there’s no one who could have done such a cute story. Perfect silent acting, and I also adore this little fanart she did for the events of #2-3! Look at that Bats, damn.
