The Bundesliga as of April 20th had 75 individual mistakes leading to a goal. In comparison, the EPL had a whopping 105... these include bad pases, silly lost possessions, bad positioning, etc.

- EPL has conceded 44 goals whereas the Bundesliga 32
- Bundesliga has won all 5 direct matches against EPL this season with a combined score of 17-3
- Only one EPL team is realistically still in the competition, there are 2 Bundesliga teams left

UEL STATS

Some will argue that UCL stats are that good because of Bayern’s presence. Here are the UEL stats that shows that the mid table German sides are not that far from some big English sides like ManU (who has only conceded 2) or Arsenal

Football returned a few weeks ago and it has been baffling to see some idiotic EPL fans or some other La Liga or even Ligue One fans (yeah I know) criticizing the Bundesliga for “easy defending” or the classic brainless comment: “farmers league” https://twitter.com/theeuropeanlad/status/1264574929367904257

When in fact educated football fans that know the fundamentals of the sport knows the enormous amount of quality the Bundesliga has. The EPL best player comes from the Bundesliga, as well as their best coach that some call best in the world atm. Pep and Carlo A also worked here.

Imagine if this Arsenal game was the first or second EPL game someone sees in his life (like most EPL fans with the Bundesliga since the restart)

They would think that the defending in EPL is shit and would see Cirque Du Soleil staff as amateurs in comparison

The funny part is that most of those who calls the Bundesliga “farmers league” are the very same begging for players like Sancho, Haaland, Werner, Havertz, Davies, Hakimi, Alaba, Upamecano, Sabitzer, Rashica etc

Yes the Bundesliga concede 0.2 more goals p/90 than the EPL, but Bundesliga defenses face more shots p/90 because we do have an attacking football philosophy. It’s the same philosophy that has won 4 World Cups and 3 euros for Germany so believe me, we won’t change it...

If you find the Bundesliga boring, I cordially invite you to f*ck off, turn off the TV and go watch Friends on Netflix for the 20th time if you like. We literally don’t care but put some respect to our league that has produced some of the biggest legends the world has ever seen

This thread’s purpose is not to argue one league is superior to the other or saying one is shit and the other is not. It’s just to generate conscience that the Bundesliga is in fact on par with any league quality wise while haveing way less economic resources and numbers show it.
