almost all of the scenes in snap shoot is colour coordinated! the outfit matches the background & vice versa. bc i love colours, i present to you: snap shoot's colour coordination - a short thread!

a little note from me:
pls understand that it's really hard to get a decent screenshot because i'm fully relying on my shitty screenshooting skills.. so yeah most of the ss are clapped but my point still stands ok

red
mostly matched with outfit, usually paired with black, beige, or blue. minghao's white outfit works an accent here, but in the big picture it matches the wall that the red flowers grew so the colour composition is balanced.

yellow
this one is pretty explanatory: knowing that hoshi would push through his tiger agenda, they went on and built a set that implies a tiger's colours-which comes down to these three: orange/brown/yellow, black, and white (as accent).

green/brown
great combination of green, brown (earth tone & skin tone), & black (from jeonghan's outfit & the hills behind). seungkwan's outfit also has that red + earthly tone, which mixes well with jeonghan's outfit and the surroundings.

green/grey
in these scenes, most of the pigments are coming from mingyu & minghao's outfit which puts them on the spot. while in lee chan's, green almost works as an accent as the shot is mostly dominated by grey/other colours

blue
blue is mostly paired with pale gray (white, toned) and skin color (mingyu). mostly seen on mingyu's scene where he stands next to a bin container against white wall while wearing white sweater & blue overalls.

purple
seungkwan's tessellated outer suits his landscape (both has lots of elements in it, but still the same dark,cold tone). jihoon's lilac plain lilac training also matches the off-white background. what's witty is that they used black to create contrast in-between!

off-white/pale grey
paired with blue and red for accent. pay attention how warm toned scenes usually have warm accents (red) and cold toned ones have cold colours (blue) as their accent!

black
the dark scenes are either warm-toned (orange)/cold-toned (blue,purple) but nonetheless it gives the illusion that the members are blending in with their surroundings. they made them stand out by playing contrast by putting more light surface to or behind the object.

outfit as color accents
cheol's hoodie matches really well with the graffiti behind him, which contrasts with the wall colour, but it lets him blend with the environment easily. for jeonghan & minghao, the colour is switched but it's the same case (dark bg, bright outfit)

outfit as color accents
jun's scene is purple-toned, but there are other colours. he's paired with purplish-grey & blue (toned, still the same tone tho) & has a yellow wall as an accent. though there are 3 main colours, it was well distributed & it creates its own harmony.

there's still so much to talk about in this thread but that's about it that my brain is capable of. let's all the boys and especially kim mingyu for bringing this very amazing video to all of us
