I agree wholeheartedly with this statement. He was someone who spent 20 years not feeling love or giving it. He didn’t know love when he felt it. He admitted that.

There was growth in season 1. From 1-13 we saw it. He stumbled and made mistakes & so did she.
Kuzgun was never a man to beg and plead, but he did. And only to her.
Pride is a frustrating & hard thing to deal with, but #Kuzgun had a lot of it for many reasons.

But in season 2, from giving her the divorce, joining the company, speaking to Cihan about his love for her, listening to why she was marrying F, to proving F wasn’t who he said he was, in his own way Kuzgun was making an effort without losing who he was.

So he had to approach it differently.
It was never going to be obvious.

S2 frustrates coz they didn’t get a chance to showcase what they really wanted to.
But the ending was clear, she was giving him the chance to make it right while working on it together, he just needed to love her.
Just like she had told him in his dream.

The longing & the pain had to be there.
The suffering in silence for both of them was always evident.

I clearly had a lot to say on this matter.
But it always upset me since the show ended the upset over S2 & being frustrated with #Kuzgun, I was too. But I understood his actions & what he was doing.
Dila did too, she saw what he was doing.

I guess what I’m saying is, I agree with you Julia. It didn’t take his essence away, yet gave him the growth he needed.
He fully understood what his revenge cost him, & he wasn’t given a proper chance to properly prove himself until the last episode. So If you made it this far..
