This whole album is so staunch in reperpetuating gender roles... and I think that’s interesting.

It’s wild how much more critical the discourse is now compared to then... “you PMS like a ***** I would know”.... they really just let Katy Perry say all this. And I’ll still let her. I think it’s a lesson on how we can look past certain actions based on the times
