Supermac’s owner Pat McDonagh is a multi-millionaire. His staff are on minimum wage. But he’s not greedy, oh no; it’s his low-paid workers, living the high life on €1400 a month, who are greedy. We need to cut welfare payments so millionaires can buy another house, or something.
I won& #39;t reply to the bootlickers on this thread but
the majority of part time workers are women and they& #39;re part-time not "out of choice" but because the burden of care falls on them https://www.irishtimes.com/opinion/women-need-a-new-world-of-welfare-and-work-1.4261997">https://www.irishtimes.com/opinion/w...
Entrepreneurs/ rentiers aren& #39;t wealth-creators without workers and if they& #39;re really responsible for all the wealth how come they aren& #39;t able to generate any at the moment?
Rentiers benefit from the State: transport infrastructure, education, health, policing etc
If your employees are better off on welfare than working for you, a millionaire, then you& #39;re simply greedy. Why on Earth should they work for less so you get more? Standing up for 8 hours a day serving customers is bloody hard work and it deserves at least a living wage
If your first instinct is to defend millionaires paying poverty wages instead of standing up for working and poor people, you& #39;re either a bootlicker or hopeful that you too can one day be rich and exploitative (you won& #39;t be though, so enjoy that tasty shoe leather)
