the version of #SuicideSquad that we've all seen was not the movie @DavidAyerMovies wanted to release. With the popularity of the superhero genre, why not show his cut on @hbomax? I'm sure a lot of DC fans would love to see an alt version of the film and it would help sell app.

also, unlike #TheSnyderCut which needs a lot of work, I think Ayer's cut is close to done.

but I also get the studio has a new Suicide Squad movie coming out next year and releasing a new cut might confuse casual movie fans. Hopefully we get to see his cut at some point. I def want to watch it.
