I used to be ashamed over the things I haven’t experienced romantically yet, felt like I was behind. Until I realized (like a few days ago) that I’d rather hold out and experience those things with someone I genuinely like than force a narrative just to say I did things

Social media, and people in general, have a great way of making folks feel like they’re “behind” for not experiencing things by a certain age. But if ima accomplish romantic things, I’m doing it with someone I’m not settling for. The person is more important than the tasks.

So idk who needs to hear this, but lack of romantic experiences shouldn’t be anything to be ashamed of regardless of age. Your time will come, with someone of value who is good for you and it will make all those romantic experiences even better. Hang in there
