Summary of what happened yesterday with the LWYMMD cover by & #39;Jack Leopards & the Dolphin Club& #39; a thread:

We we& #39;re all chillin, relaxed, probably watching a movie on a Sunday night. Nothing new was happening.

But suddenly, Taylor posted something on her Insta story

Which we really didn& #39;t care about, cause she wasn& #39;t announcing Cruel Summer as the next single.

It was just Taylor supporting a band, none of us knew existed.

Me after reading the bands name:

UNTIL! ...
Until someone read the credits of the song & noticed a peculiar name...

Nils Sjöberg

And it HIT US

Nils Sjöberg is the pseudonym Taylor used for TIWYCF & the name that appeared on a grave in the LWYMMD mv

We weren& #39;t sure what was going on

And we didn& #39;t want to clown again

So no one wanted to confirm anything, so some Swifties started googling the bands name and found out it wasn& #39;t a real band. The only thing that popped up about it was an Instagram account.

Stan Twitter was freaking out and the Twitter tl was filled with theories (well that& #39;s kind of normal, we always making weird theories lol).

To our good luck, Taylor took pity on us and confirmed everything on Tumblr

Now that we were sure it was her.
Everything made sense. Taylor can& #39;t legally re-recorded any of her songs from reputation. So she found a way of doing it with out breaking the law.

She made up the & #39;Jack Leopards & the Dolphin Club& #39; band with her brother Austin and her friend Jack Antonoff; using the pseudonym & #39;Nils Sjöberg& #39; so she would be directly credited on the LWYMMD & #39;cover& #39;.

That way she wouldn& #39;t have any legal issues and Scooter Braun wouldn& #39;t receive any of the money from the re-recorded song.

After that, Swifties found out that the cover of the song is an edited Austin pic, cause you know, we& #39;re the f*cking FBI lmao

With that info, we figured out why the band has the weird name "Jack Leopards & the Dolphin Club"

1. Jack Antonoff is obviously "Jack"
