.) simon vs the homo sapiens agenda—about a closeted gay teenager who meets another boy at his school in the same situation over email—both do not know who each other is, adapted into “love simon”, good lgbtq rep, good friendship dynamics, 5/5
.) long way down —written in verse so it takes like an hour to read, about gun violence, kinda boring ngl, takes place in 60 seconds so that’s pretty cool, probably would read again 3/5
.) we all looked up — about an asteroid about to hit earth, characters were boring and cliche, listened to the audiobook and had a crush on the one narrator, didn’t really like it 2/5
.) choker— about a girl who literally chokes on a carrot (hence the name choker, there is more to this but i don’t wanna spoil it) and no one likes her, two popular girls are found dead, had a pretty good plot twist, only a little over 200 pages, it was alright 3/5
.) undiscovered gyrl— girl writes a blog about her crazy teenage life filled with boys, men, and home wrecking, adapted into a movie (titled ask me anything), covered topics such as grief, infidelity, teenage angst 4/5
