So, some good news. I have a thing for artisanship. If it’s handmade, interesting, and excellent, I’m interested. Some time back, I met Cozbi Cabrera at a book thing. We got to talking about these dolls she makes. So, I went and looked her up. (Cont.)

And they were incredible. Handmade, with such care and intention. So, I asked her to make me a custom one. It came today. And...I don’t think I’ve ever held an object so gorgeous. Layers of clothing, beadwork, and lace. Hook and eye, and ruching. (Cont.)
