So we were supposed to go on a real cruise earlier this month, but obviously that didn& #39;t happen. So @MikeBelsole3 have planned an extensive 8-day fake cruise at our home and this thread will chronicle our adventures, in case you need something fun to follow. :)

My mom and her husband (who we live with) have gotten in on the planning as well, so three days ago we got this cute e-mail. Now we& #39;re driving off to port (aka driving around for an hour listening to a podcast and then coming back home). Cruise starts today! #cruisetonowhere

Cruise is underway! We were greeted by "cruise staff" at the door to welcome us with drinks & snacks. So far Mike won animal trivia, we watched Penguin Highway, and we took a lovely nap in our stateroom. #cruisetonowhere

Headed to bed after a stellar first day. Watched Beauty & the Beast Live, triumphed over a Hogwarts escape room, ate a KILLER vegetable lasagna, saw Cirque du Soleil on ice + then played Meeple Circus. Wound down with ship comedian Reggie Watts + fireworks. #cruisetonowhere

So I typoed the first tweet in this thread and made it sound like Mike planned everything. Oops! We are alternating days, so I planned yesterday and he planned today. It& #39;s fun surprising each other!
