You'll often find when you need support the most, only a handful of people show up.

Have a few of these moments and you'll realize why it's more strategic to have a smaller circle vs a big circus rolling with ya
Don't think that it's only a phenomena that happens with you

It's a phenomena that happens with everyone.

On a global stage 👇👀
And when something happens on a global stage, then what does it mean?

'Uh...'

Human nature is involved
There are different types of humans out there.

Some are predominant givers.

Some are predominant takers.
Givers are what keeps society moving forward.

But givers got like that after they invested in themselves.
There are 2 types of givers though:

The smart ones

And the misguided ones
The smart ones knows there's a time and place for everything

They are happy to give

However, there are boundaries as well.
The misguided ones want to give without boundaries...

Big mistake

Some people do this because they are the 'nice guy.'

Others do this bc they have a very high level of empathy
'Why you calling them misguided tho?'

Bc there are more takers than givers.

And without any sort of boundary, this sort of giver may become jaded towards humans
In reality, learn what to expect from the get go.

Everyone is not meant to be your friend.

Your social world is meant to have TIERS.
The tiers include:

Friends

Acquaintances

Strangers
When you forget there are tiers, you consider everyone a friend.

The goal is to have a small number of high quality friends.

And a high quantity of acquaintances
Friends are the people you can count on when shit hits the fan.

The feeling needs to be mutual

Otherwise you need to push that person to an acquaintance
Acquaintances are meant to be plentiful.

The beauty about them is they're often lower maintenance

You can just hit them up once a month to see how everything is going

And that's good in many cases
Acquaintances give your social circle a larger presence

Bc they know ppl you had no clue existed before

And they can convert those strangers into new acquaintances for ya
This is why for an immediate squad, you want to keep it small

Small & full of loyal ones

And we often make this realization at one point or another
Theres a beauty to learning this lesson quicker tho

You see most people getting to this stage as they mature

But its bc the lessons were learned via pain
When shit hits the fan, a lot won't care

Some will switch up on ya

And only a handful will stay
Have a few of these moments & you'll realize how to move with strategy

1 loyal friend beats 100 iffy people
