Hindu shops, businesses burned down and destroyed post-riots in Punjab

Gyan Chand (ਗਿਆਨ ਚੰਦ) a Hindu villager, was the only Hindu that stayed on despite intense persecution of Hindus in the village by Khalistani militants

Gyan Chand had many Sikh villagers who were also under fear of the militants. He was attacked and asked to leave the village.

An estimated 30,000 Hindu villagers of Punjab (mostly ethnic punjabi speaking punjabis themselves) fled the rural countryside as it had come under the grip of Sikh militants that were hell-bent on driving out Hindus.

Many Sikhs that tried standing up, were also eliminated.

You have to understand - my point is highlighting and spreading awareness of the pain felt by people belonging to my community (Hindus). This is not to express anti-sikh rage. I am not going to apologize for spreading awareness about things people are pretty much ka know abt.
