if it starts with a 00-09, it's made in USA or Canada.
if it starts with a 69, it's made in China

Not 100% failsafe...Companies CAN label items with a USA barcode even if made/assembled in China by skirting the rules with shell companies, etc. But it's a start at least. If it starts with 69 it's definitely China. If it's 0, hopefully it's USA
