I know some are angry, I empathise...but let's look at the bigger picture...Opponants want to get rid of Cummings as he's a driving force for change in Westminster & beyond. Some also have personal beef with him. 1/6

On questionable rule breaking & 4 the sake of a proportionate consequence we shouldn't be baying for his dismissal. Of course there are ppl who want rid of him, he's a Brexiteer that empathises with the general public & has the ability to maneuver the cogs of Westminster... 2/6

I have concluded over my Brexit years that not many have all those qualities. It's confusing times for all of us & we are all only human, but to see the bigger picture of actually getting the changes the general public voted for & DC should stay put. 3/6

U might think he's not the be all. But currently he is the only 1 with:
1. Trust of PM
2. Trust of his political team
3. A grasp of CS
4. Brexiteer
5. In a Gov with a majority
6. Empathy with the general public
7. Sees the embalance of power between ordinary people & elites 4/6

A rarity in Westminster. This hype is a contrived effort by his opponants to get rid of him for political reasons. U have to ask yourself do you care more about perceived rule breaking. Or having someone in position to make lasting changes of things you care about long-term. 5/6

It's a worrying & sad times for everyone & perceived hypocrisy is denting. But for consolation & getting through this we concentrate on the positive efforts of ourselves not the perceived failures of others. 6/6
