shouto's on a grocery trip one time and he passes by an aisle of the shampoo momo's endorsing, the ones with her face on the bottle. he smiles as he takes a picture and sends it to her captioned: "it feels like your eyes are following me wherever i go. it's kind of scary."

he chuckles a bit when she replies with a stream of embarassed messages. he can almost imagine her blushing as she explains that it was the photographer who wanted her to look at the camera that way, okay?! and he thinks cute... before replying "okay. still scary though."

of *course* she calls soon after, and it's fun hearing her being defensive as he piles supplies in his cart. in the end, she huffs and closes her argument about how it's just an optical illusion that her eyes are following him.
he's already in his car when she bids him good bye.

errand days are usually boring, even troublesome (especially when people see through his civilian disguise). but with momo's voice accompanying him through the whole thing, it was... nice. a small comfort before he returns to his quite empty apartment.

he thinks of how her voice still hasn't changed. he thinks how nice it would be to see her again... maybe one day, they'll find the time. he thinks of her shampoo brand that he definitely doesn't need sitting in one of his grocery bags.

it's the least he can do, right?
