Naoki Urasawa: The Modern God Of Manga

Acknowledged by many as the reincarnation of Osamu Tezuka, the godfather of manga, the man who pioneered the popularisation of manga, Naoki Urasawa is widely enunciated as the most illustrious manga author of his generation.
The most eminent aspect of Urasawa's works is his calibre of composing oeuvres which are the quintessential epitome of a paragon.
Majority of his narratives deal with the myriad of human emotions, and the actions induced on ordinary individuals by onerous circumstances. Combining surrealism and verisimilitude is a precarious endeavour which Urasawa pulls off with commendable dexterity.
What's especially beguiling about him is his aptness at metamorphosing a typical day-to-day situation into a profound psychological endeavour in a realistic and authentic fashion.
The stories throw light upon the frivolous malevolence of human nature. Nihilism, corruption and immorality are leitmotifs in his works.
Reckoned as "The Master of Suspense", his modus operandi is crafting a sibylline diegesis with a multifarious cast of enigmatic dramatis personae. A thrilling mythos is the concomitant of an Urasawa piece.
