THREAD Let's be clear how we got to this point....

Some people had genuine concerns about the EU, its power and open immigration. Anytime these points were raised someone shouted racism and bigot. No one was allowed to talk about it...
This led to a rise in support for the 1 party that would talk about it. UKIP. The chattering classes sneered and blamed the media and the stupidity of people whilst still saying they defended the working class (they just didn't like)
Due to the rise of support for UKIP and the EU not showing any common sense with rulings on immigration etc Cameron was forced to offer a referendum. It's not the sliding doors moment many think as if he hadn't offered it then UKIP would have grown in support.
Run up to the referendum people still weren't listened to and the EU refused to even consider a different path for some countries. We were told like it or lump it , the working class being sick of not being listened to told them to lump it
The left and pro EU went into utter meltdown. Like toddlers they threw out their toys, screamed racists and blamed the media. If only those who voted leave were as intelligent as them and it was up to them to show leave voters how stupid they were.
A softer Brexit was offered by May but MPs decided to play who would blink first, not accepting the vote and believing if they held on for long enough they could stop us leaving. The EU taunted those who voted leave, some rightly as some were bonkers but never listening to..
Regular voters. They were simply too dumb to understand how clever they were. In the end May fell as MPs refused to listen and many got fed up with seeing MPs arguing everyday. To them it confirmed all their thoughts that Westminster didn't care about them.
In came Boris. Yes he was mega rich and posh but many didn't care they just wanted someone who would complete the job they were promised. Many good MPs stood down, some falling on their own sword. Many replaced by Tory Associations now full of former UKIP members who chose..
poor candidates but ones who told them all they wanted to hear about the EU. We would leave. Nothing else mattered. In the GE, not much else mattered. Oh and Corbyn was a sixth form protester gone too far but if you said this you were stupid / listened to the right wing media..
And so Boris and the Tories got a stonking majority. Unheard of after 10 years in govt and a move to the right which as a Tory member I didn't want. 2015 front bench was far more to my liking but like everyone else I have to accept that those MPs just didn't listen, backed by..
The left telling leave voters they were stupid. Even that they shouldn't have the right to vote. So if you were wonder how we got to this place and this government then a lot of people need to look at themselves and think about their actions in making this happen.
Apologies for typos, I have ADHD and don't have the motivation to read through my work #cummings #CumGate #BooAtBoris #boris #tories
