I had a conversation with my fear, and this is what she told me. ⁣

I’m not here to hurt you. I’m here to help you. I’m not here to ruin your life. I’m here to make you change the way you live your life. ⁣

I know that when things don’t go the way you planned it makes you want to run away, but I am trying to show you another way. I know that you’re afraid that your dreams are paused, but you knew that reaching them was never going to be easy. ⁣

Want to prove to yourself that they’re possible? Show yourself that your dreams can overcome any hurdles. I’m preparing you today so that tomorrow nothing will be able to stand in your way. ⁣

And are you afraid that your voice doesn’t matter, especially now that everyone is grabbing for the mic? Well, while you’re so focused on standing out, did you notice that you’ve been sitting out? Letting yourself go unseen, worrying about how you’d be perceived?

And, I know that you’re scared that the world will never be the same. But have you ever considered that this could be a good thing? Yes, things are changing, but why does change always have to be bad? Yes, there’s hurt, ...

Don’t be afraid of change--be afraid that there won’t be any when this is all over. Be a part of what good comes after this. Be a part of what solutions come from this.
