I have otherwise disengaged with the conversation, the reported statistics, the policies of nations and how they differ, and the behaviours of individuals.
All of this is outside of my control and in the pursuit of sustaining good mental health, I& #39;ve not focused on this.

In the last 24 hours I& #39;ve felt myself drifting back towards this stuff. I watched the UK Govt briefing last night, I& #39;ve listened to @mrjamesob this morning on LBC and read the statistics of what& #39;s happening here in Sweden.

By being disengaged with what& #39;s happening, and not actively participating in what& #39;s happening am I behaving as responsibly as I can as an individual? By focusing on myself am I being selfish and ignorant to the sacrifices of others in a time of crisis?

It& #39;s amazing how quickly it can shift my mood. In just putting my mind back in that place where it can review and examine that stuff, I immediately become aware of how much my mood drops.
Guilt appears in place of the focus and control.

So why share this? I& #39;m not looking for validation, conjecture, or advice. I& #39;ll rediscover that confidence that motivates and maintains good Mental Health in short order.
Just wanted to share that we& #39;ll all have weird thoughts like this. It& #39;s good to exercise them where you can!
