Red is the healthier wine, alcohol abuse can be dangerous for your health. Drink responsible.

I don’t remember myself not drinking wine, I tried something after matric but I blacked out and I swore I would never drink alcohol again. What a joke.

I just put together a simple guide, I’m not saying you’re doing it wrong but I’m sharing how I do it. You’re welcome to add.

I enjoy wine with a good pairing of cheese platter hence I put together the types of cheese. With dishes remember you can have your wine a variety of food I choose meat. Check on pastas too.

I always snack with POPCORN. More like a dish on its own

FULL-BODIED REDS: Feels thick, coating the sides of the glass as you swirl.

MEDIUM-BODIED REDS: This is in between

Dish: popcorn lamb do it for me

Chocolate: Dark

LIGHT-BODIED REDS: is almost like water even the color is lighter. Less tannin(bitterness)

Dish: Asian Food, Chicken, turkey
Cheese: Swiss, Gouda
Chocolate: Milk

WINE TASTING TIP:
If you’re a messy drinker don’t wear bright colors. Fav, any color close to red or just dark.

GLASSES
Red: Red wines typically require a large wide bowl to best allow their bigger bolder aromas and flavors to emerge.

White: Because most white wines have more delicate flavors and aromas, a narrower glass helps channel these subtler aromas more toward your nose.
