I have this draft article I started writing months ago titled ”Money No Dey Miss Road” to debunk the fallacy of the term ”stupidly wealthy.” In all my years of life, I have never met a ”stupid” wealthy person. I have met many greedy people but they are never stupid.
You don't maintain wealth levels with luck. Sustained wealth typically comes from a secret that isn't commonly known. We may believe that we know everything about Jeff Bezos and others because of stories and speeches, trust me, we do not. We see results, not the engine driving it
If we all knew the secrets, then why aren't there many of those super-rich people like Jeff around? I think the wealthy person has a greater sense of self-preservation than normal. It is typically, but not always, manifest as greed. The poor man has similar drive too but not same
The wealthy are typically focussed on that secret while the poor person typically focuses on things known by everyone. The poor must work hard to continue to make the rich remain rich. Money no dey ever miss road.
