I'll be intruiged to see how long this "yes he broke the rules", "no he didnt" stalemate will play out. Despite what side you fall on (I think he should have to resign) I think it will be shortlived as we must focus on the real bigger picture of saving lives & returning to normal
You can then get into the debate "he shouldn't resign", Boris should have sacked him (which again I agree with) but if its apparant they stay resolute, it will be interesting to see how long media run the story and how long the people stay interested in that rather than easement
I also think to say "Boris is finished" is a tad hyperbolic, he's 6 months into his term, if the virus lasts another 6 months he's still PM for another 3 or 4 years, so he's not going anywhere for a while, that's not me agreeing with him just saying that's the situation
And this thread isn't a defense by any means as I think Cummings should have gone, and Boris was weak not to get rid. More of an interest in "what happens next"...
