My dad passed on mid week & had to be burried the following weekend. The pain of having people over that whole 2 weeks telling you they prefer peanut butter over jam or white sugar not brown while I was mourning... I will never forget.

If you go to a funeral and start making demands. Haai then what's the point. Pay your condolences and go eat at home. The aim to support the family emotionally and financially, not to burden them... Honestly I personally hate funerals shem... You don't get to cry, always serving
I hated waking up everyday coz I needed to start serving from Tea all the way to dinner with everyone that walked in. I'D CRY EVERY NIGHT AND EVERY MORNING.... FOR THE WHOLE 2 FUCKING WEEKS.... Things ran out and there you are buying groceries for the week... TO FEED PEOPLE.
That time people in villages arrive at 5am and wena your dad just died of a car accident. Something you never expected. Now you up at 5am, busy ka maroto and baking. Screw funerals... I don't want any of this should I die. Tea and cookies ka burial day and that's it.
