Another day and yet another attempt to claim Rajput warriors as their own.

Let's debunk the falacy being circulated over Internet.

Remembering the great Rajput Warrior Alha on his birth anniversary.

Here is a small thread on Alha-Udall

Alha- Udal were sons of Dasraj.
Dasraj and Bachraj were Tomar Rajputs, they lived in forests, thus they were being called Van-Afar, later it became Ban-Afar.

Here is an interesting story which bursts the bubble of them being Ahirs.

When prince of Jajmau, Kariyā attacked Māhōbā in order to get the 'Naulakhā Haar' from Queen Malhnā.

Bānphārs, who were there to settle a personal dispute, fought and defended the capital.

In return, they were taken into the service of King Parmal.
Later Dasraj and Bachraj were wedded to daughters of Rajput King Dalpat of Gwalior.

They were also given a small village (Dāsrapūr) few miles away from Māhōbā to live in.

There are more incidents which prove that Alha- Udal were Rajputs.

Traitor brother of Queen Malhnā, Māhil, spread the rumour that Dasraj and Bachraj were married to cowherd (Ahir ) girls.

(In picture)The incident took place after the death of Udal.

After few years of the defence of Māhōbā, both Dasraj and Bachraj were beheaded in sleep by Kariyā at night by Māhil's instigation.

He also took their Elephant, Horses and that 'Nāulakhā Haar', and set the village on fire.

Alha - Udal grew up to become fierce warriors with unmatched strength. Alongside Malkhan and Sulkhan, they were the champions of Māhōbā.

After banishment from Māhōbā, both went to Kannauj.
I'll conclude this thread with a glimpse of their visit.
