Don't know who needs to hear this but have seen some trying to do threads by just numbering their tweets, with the tweets not connected in any other way.

This makes it very difficult to follow the thread. A very simple way is to compose 1st tweet..
.. & post your 2nd tweet by way of reply to the 1st. Because Twitter is such a helpful & friendly app, it will recognize that you're most likely doing a thread. You'll notice below the 2nd, & any subsequent tweets, it will add an "Add another tweet" button
If you need to keep adding more tweets just go to the last tweet on the thread and click that Add another tweet button, and so on.

Numbering tweets becomes redundant, and might only aid in giving reader idea how long the thread is 😊
This is the best way to do a thread, because regardless of whatever tweet a reader sees first, they are dropped into the thread. They can simply scroll up to go to the 1st tweet.

Now numbering tweets that are not joined is an absolute pain for the reader.
It means they have to keep scrolling through your TL, to look for the relevant tweets. The order is disjointed, meaning a reader might read last tweet first, then tweet 14, tweet 3, tweet 17.. u get the idea, now try processing the message in such a way 😊
And if u've interacted with other readers your reader might start seeing some of your replies before the actual tweet,& this just adds to the confusion.

Seen a few high profile users on this app make this mistake, & it distorts the message. Thank u. End 😊
