This country drives me mad sometimes. We are absolutely our own worst enemies. Cummings did the wrong thing but if we still want to at least try to avoid more deaths we still need to adhere to the rules. How does this need saying.

I’d quite like to see Starmer take a lead on this. We need leadership from somewhere. Being mired in fury might seem justified but it’s unproductive, even dangerous.
