My favourite thing about Labor broekns is that they're so right wing, they use "woke" as a slur, even mild functioning social democracy, defended with a bit of acid, attracts the label.

I could talk about how "woke" is AAVE and they're just racist, like, they're definitely racist (see: Rudd's continued support of the intervention and offshore concentration camps), but they legitimately attack people identifying as Labor members who don't follow the party line.

Y'see these discussions are meant to happen 'in-house,' behind closed doors, so when the left get railroaded into bad, racist, or just straight up neoliberal ideology, but people are leaving, or not signing up to begin with.

So they're stuck defending shit policy by slur, blocking and harassment. At their meekest they will admit policy is bad, but will they take it to their branch? Probably not. Most of the time they ignore the argument itself and reduce it down to an insult, rather than a critique.
