Please feel free to correct me if I use any words that may seem misplaced but we need to talk about Mental Health of our elected leaders.
A friend of mine pointed out to the fact that a lot of ministers who have been part of politics for a while, have seen and orchestrated their share of unfortunate plans. There are cases pending and still they get a pass to work without intervention on their mental health.
Imagine how a person who doesn't have the mental health capacity to frame their words properly, ends up creating chaos because they are not emotionally stable.

Everytime a leader makes a remark that baffles everyone, it is met with rage. There is no provision of intervention.
Why is it that the seemingly well to do men and women in power make remarks without understanding it's repercussions? Assuming it is not deliberate.
Ex: A minister who chanted ' Desh ke gadharo ko, goli maro sallo ko', he is sitting at the table, working on an economic package for Covid and for those in need. Do you think a person who can make such a remark, has the mental health capacity to make decisions without bias?
And those who are applauding the ordeal of a young girl who paddled for 1200 kms to reach home instead of introspecting how they can avoid putting someone in a similar situation, seem like they are going in a never ending circle of cruelty without pause or deliberation.
I mean if there can be a simple sit down where a professional asks these individual leaders ' How did you feel after making that comment? ' ' Or what made you say it?'

No one asks them that, they never think about it and the circle of violence, hate and cruelty continues.
Does this make sense to you? Please comment.
