Nigeria's restructuring will happen. The issue is whether it will happen slowly and superficially (for the benefit of the political elite) or whether it will happen strategically and deliberately (for the benefit of the people). What we, the people, focus on now will decide this.

The same way the colonial govt and the military designed and redesigned Nigeria without the input of the affected people is the way the current political elite will do so. At some point, we must break this cycle: stop looking for party candidates, start demanding a system reset.
