Gavin Williamson on Sky News: “If he’s made it clear to the PM that he didn’t break the law, I absolutely believe that assurance. You wouldn’t expect someone to be not giving the absolute categoric truth to the Prime Minister."
(Of course if we all got to adjudicate on whether we have broken laws the nation's courts would be quite quiet.)
Williamson tells BBC: “Dominic Cummings has set out absolutely clearly and absolutely categorically he didn’t break the rules and didn’t break the law.”

"Clearly"? Government still hasn't spelt out several details including whether he went to Barnard Castle during lockdown.
