The Recovery trial of hospitalized covid patients is continuing its hcq arm after DSMB made an interim look because of lancet observational study.

DSMB found no reason to stop study because of safety.

The recovery trial, the discovery trial, the Minnesota outpatient treatment trials, others. None of those have been stopped because of safety risks in the hcq arms.

Doesn’t mean the drug will work, but probably means it doesn’t lead to 30% higher mortality.

Update, WHO is suspending enrollment in hcq arm of solidarity until DSMB can review their data. Even though recovery did not stop, nor discovery.

Because of the lancet study, which seems to develop new holes every day.

Recovery trial *already* reviewed interim data and is continuing the hcq arm because no safety concerns. CRICKETS.
