q. you made a new record of 6 straight wins among idols artists. did you expect this hot response ?
sy. i didn't expect at all. that's why i'm more thankful than ever

q. how did you decide to appear on koms?
sy. i got the invite just before winner's new album <remember> was to be released. i thought "oh this lined up well. i'll go out and promote winner's album well !" and appeared with that determination.

q. when did the winner members start to notice ? how was their response ?

q. did you think you hid you identity well all this time ? it seemed like a lot of people around you noticed and contacted you so how was that ?

q. your name always came up on the portal sites after <king of mask singer> aired

q. what parts of joo y8n bal do you think people started to notice it was you ?
sy. the falsetto and voice that was impossible to hide, thin ankles, my thick lips that were visible behind the mask ?? (laughs)

q. we’re curious as to how the nickname “king even when he sings with his foot! real masked king, joo y8n bal!” came to be.

q. what’s the difference between winner’s kang seungyoon and the mask wearing joo y8n bal on stage ?

q. it must have been a new experience to sing without an audience

q. you were able to show an image that exceeded expectations of those that were waiting for you since debut. were there any prejudices that you hoped to break (about yourself) while doing this programme ?

q. every stage became a hot topic. you managed to perfectly show your own colour and digest songs that were not easy to sing and even more suprisingly, it seemed to be a time where we were able to rediscover kang seungyoon’s charms as a vocalist...

q. what was the happiest moment while you were on koms ?
sy. i was happy every time i managed to keep the throne. after the 3rd round and after i sang i always thought i would lose so every time i would be shocked and nervous, so it made me happy.

q. you sang <instinctively> on the your last broadcast of koms, you must have gotten a different impression from 10 years ago (when you sang it)

q. you’ve spoken here and there about the preparation of your solo album.. your fans must be anticipating it even more after seeing your solo stages. for the fans, could you please give us some spoilers about the plans that you have !
