What’s wrong with a 3-star rating? A lot of the books I read are solid 3-star reads and there’s nothing wrong with them.

It means I enjoyed it enough to finish it. Sometimes I’ll even recommend a 3-star book to someone else if it aligns more to their taste.

For me, it just means I enjoyed it at the moment I read it but it might not leave a lasting impression. I might not want to read it again.

I don’t expect every book to wow me. Reading only 4-star books or higher is like saying everyone should only watch movies and tv shoes that THEY LOVE. People watch tv all day long to pass the time. They don’t have to love every second of it ......
