Often times, I see people say things highlighting to pay attention to those who don’t “clap” for you when something good happens.

Let me tell you why you SHOULDN’T. A mini thread.
It takes your focus off of what you accomplished.
It can lead you into unnecessary disappointment.
It leads you into pride.
It places entitlement on others.
It can possibly reveal that your doing things for other people’s approval.
I get the idea of noticing it, and it hurts sometimes when those you expect to clap for you ultimately don’t.

However, as long as YOU celebrate you don’t worry about it. Focus on those who are celebrating you.
