A member of my community Neelam Ali, shared with us in 2018 her story about how she was raised singlehandedly by her mother since her father passed away when she was 4. Her mother worked non stop, giving up even seeing her own family for 22 years in India, to raise Neelam.

She saw her off when Neelam finally achieved her dream of studying abroad, with a heavy heart. And her heart was full when Neelam got her post graduate degree. She shared the pictures with us and I personally teared up at the fruits her mother's hardwork bore.

Neelam passed away in the plane crash on Friday. I learnt this just a few hrs ago. My heart bleeds for her mother. I don't even know what to say except that pls take out time to pray for her mother & for everyone grieving. I wish I could do something to take their pain away.(3/3)
