Yeah I don’t hate even my most toxic ex.

Because I love myself. And ultimately, he deserves the same grace (from AFAR lol) I deserve for where I fell short. That grace does NOT involve me tolerating his mess.

I’m forever grateful for the theraputic and spiritual journey I went through to finally, properly identify the cycle of emotional violence I was in.

Extracting myself from that relationship was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

But harboring hate for him would have kept me emotionally wrapped up in that situation-and I had to get faaaar away.

I don’t need to have hated you to have broken up with you. I needed to learn how to love myself better.
