The more I watch and research BNA: Brand New Animal, the more I realise I literally cannot write about its themes without talking about social justice
This might sound bad of me, but in recent years I& #39;ve been kinda avoiding social justice as a topic of thematic analysis for anime because anime fans tend to be so toxic about it... I end up complacently thinking, "I& #39;ll leave it to someone else to unpack"
But with BNA, if I didn& #39;t mention such things it would obviously miss the major themes, so I can& #39;t cowardly skirt around it.
please have faith that I don& #39;t bring up any particular topic for the sake of starting drama or forcing my personal worldview onto other people :& #39;))))
