I love Za& #39;Darius Smith with my whole entire heart.
And...wait a minute. Who is that young gentleman with his hand in the dirt causing disruption on a key 3rd down play? Is that...is that Rashan Gary?
Brother, it sure is.

I& #39;ll tell you something I could watch for hours: Za& #39;Darius Smith exploding off a twist. He pushes hard at the outside shoulder of 68, and when he cuts over and bends inside, it& #39;s just pure explosion. I& #39;ll never get tired of it.
I& #39;m getting some snarky responses to this, so let me explain a bit.
I& #39;m not saying Gary was some BIG DISRUPTER on this play. My point is that, on a big 3rd down, they trusted Gary to line up with his hand in the dirt & do his job. And that& #39;s what he did.

He rushes the outside shoulder, engages & drives. Is it a win? Eh, not really. But he does exactly what he was supposed to do: drive out, engage & open room for Smith on the twist.
Looking forward to 2020 - and further down the road - the talk about Gary has been about his versatility. His ability to play the edge or play a bit on the line. I wanted to show an example of that, because I noticed it and I liked it.
