about a year ago my family went through something really difficult with my little brother and even though my mom felt it wasn’t necessary (& bc of stigma) i pushed her to have him get counseling
bc i am determined to help my brother grow up to be a happy & well adjusted adult and i just think about how different my life wouldve been if i had had someone to talk to like that when i was his age.
im soo glad i did that honestly bc we’ve seen so many positive changes in him and he’s so much happier nowhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đŸ„ș" title="Pleading face" aria-label="Emoji: Pleading face">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đŸ„ș" title="Pleading face" aria-label="Emoji: Pleading face">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đŸ„ș" title="Pleading face" aria-label="Emoji: Pleading face">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="âŁïž" title="Heart exclamation" aria-label="Emoji: Heart exclamation"> makes me so fucking happy.
latino households stigmatize mental illness & therapy/counseling soo much and we need to put an end that.
