The Most widely believed Massacre of Jains is alleged to have happened in Samanathan as written in a Tamil Manuscript written by Thirunaraiyur Nambiyandar Nambi. It's an 11th Century Text that narrates a 7th Century Story. https://twitter.com/eddiejain_/status/1264721924321538049
Oliver Freiberger in his book, Asceticism and Its Critics: Historical Accounts and Comparative Perspectives writes that a number of 9th and 10th century Pandya Inscription narrates about Important Pandyan events since 7th century, But none about the Alleged m@ss@cre.
Nambi narrates that Sambandar, A Brahmana Saint, defeated a number of Jain scholars in a debate. The jain king "Sundara Pandyan", identified as Arikesari Maravarman, converted to Shaivism and m@ss@cred 8,000 samanars (Jains).
Tirugnana Sambandar doesn't write anything about this win against the Samanars(Tamil Jains) in his Inscriptions.

Considering that he won against a number of Scholars in a philosophical debate, It's surprising that he didn't wrote about this.
According to Paul Dundas in his book, Jains
No Jain inscription narrates about this incident.
He also writes that Jains continued to be concentrated in and around Madurai till 10th century.
Several Jain Books were composed in Madurai after 7th century and none narrates the +
+ Incident. The books includes Sendan Divakaram, Neminatham, Vachchamalai.

The real question is, If the stories were made up, Then why these stories are narrated till date? why were they made up?
According to Ashim Kumar Roy, in his book, A History of Jainas, stories of destruction of one sect by another sect were a common feature of the contemporary Tamil literature, and were used as a way to prove the superiority of one sect over the other.
He further writes that these stories were usually branded on Temple carvings and were celebrated.

That's why many Shaiva texts narrate Vaishnava massacre and vice versa, But they never narrate their own massacres in such texts.
Also, The absence of contemporary evidence about it
There are even stories about P@rsecut@n of Buddhists by Jain kings of Kanchi and M@ss@cre of Nayanar Brahmins (Shaiva) by Jain King "Sundara Pandyan".
Both of such M@$$@cres don't have a contemporary evidence, and were evolved between 11-13th century.

So, Why @AhinsaParmDharm @eddiejain_ @akj224 @Jain__10 and gang are laughing about this?

Do they have the guts to retweet the analysis of this p@rsecuti0n?

I guess, Yes.
