Accusing cis people who are in a healthy relationship with a trans person of being a chaser is pretty hurtful to me and I'm sure plenty of other trans people. It sends the message that we're unlovable and the only value we have is being a fetish, and I think that's fucked up

My boyfriend loves me because I'm really supportive of him, we're both there for each other, he thinks the way I act is adorable, he loves my laugh and my voice and the funny autistic sounds I make when I'm happy or frustrated, and soooo much more!!!

He always feels so self conscious someone will accuse him of being a chaser for no reason other than that he loves me, and I always have to reassure him, Because he's the loveliest sweetest man I've ever met and he'd NEVER take advantage of me like that!!!

And as the trans person in a relationship like that, the implication that I could only ever be desired as a fetish really sucks. Blegh

When y'all accuse Venus of being a chaser, I see that. We see that. Stop projecting your internalized transphobia on us. We're worthy of love
