You know what? I need to ask my dad some more questions about my grandparents because how tf they buy a house in San Francisco? And what job did they have?? My grandma ran a daycare in her house... I dont know wtf my grandpa did. At all. I’m really thinking about this.
I started thinking about this because my dad has always worked for himself for as long as I can remember. My mom has hustled from job to job forever. My mom has a career, my mom says my dad doesn’t but shit he lowkey got it good. A studio in the same house he grew up in.
Like I’m really sitting here thinking about this... matter of fact imma meditate on it. Yeah. I got some mf questions.
LIKE HOW DID THEY COME UP OFF A 6 bedroom house!?! IN SAN FRANCISCO?!?! This house survived gentrification... like I need LEGIT ANSWERS!
Like what did my grandpa do because I know damn well that house was paid off using checks from performing Blues concerts all over the Bay Area. Can’t be that.
The more and more I think of it... my dad lived a pretty Black Ass Privileged life to where he was able to live how he wants AND do what he loves (music) making money. Entrepreneurship is CLEARLY in my blood but like.... yo!
Im doing the most with this thread, I know, I apologize but I say this time stress how important Ancestral healing is. I dont need much of it on my dad’s side but on my mother’s side I need A LOT OF IT. So now... I need to ask my paternal ancestors some questions!
I’ve been so focused on tracing the family tree in my mom’s side... I never tried to figure out what’s good from my dad’s side because anceatrally they are doing just fine!
And then the only drama really on my fathers side is the fact that my grandma had a baby with her twin flame (which my father came from) and like... even with that it’s still some missing pieces I need to figure out. YALL.... my life is pretty fucking interesting!
