Is She-Ra a superhero story?
I suppose I should add, for those who see this and voted; why or why not?
Thinking about this in context of a convo a long time ago with a former friend where we talked about analyzing Avatar *as a superhero story* and also in context of comparisons between Catra and Zuko.
Given the sheer ubiquity of the superhero genre, it’s interesting to think about how that genre has influenced storytelling in general, how the genre bleeds into shows that aren’t straightforwardly elements of the genre.
Aside: DnD 5e classes for the cast of She-Ra:

Adora/She-Ra: Paladin (Oath of Redemption)
Glimmer: Rogue (Arcane Trickster)
Bow: Fighter (Arcane Archer)
Catra: Monk (Way of Shadow)
Mermista: Sorcerer (Storm Sorcery)
Perfuma: Druid (Circle of Spores)

...
She-Ra cast classes cont.

Frosta: Barbarian (Battlerager)
Entrapta: Artificer (Battle Smith)
Scorpia: Barbarian (Storm Herald)
Seahawk: Rogue (Swashbuckler)
Shadow Weaver: Sorcerer (Shadow Magic)
Angela: Sorcerer (Divine Soul)
Micah: Wizard (War Magic)

...
Penultimate boost to stoke this niche genre debate a little more.
