Ok I’m just gonna say this real quick: the Sims community does not need tea, a scandal, anything. People come to this community to escape from reality, not to deal with more problems. This should be a place where we build each other up, not tear others down

This tweet popped off way more than I thought it would, and I just wanted to clarify a few things. Giving your opinion on a pack/feature or ideas of things you want in the game aren’t considered “tea” if it is given in a constructive way. If you’re bashing the whole game and-

Tearing down SimGurus, who are REAL PEOPLE, for not giving you what you want, that is when it becomes problematic. Not to mention pitting other simmers, especially game changers, against each other can become so toxic. They all work so hard to bring us quality content every day-

-and often start off just like one of us, trying to escape reality through a virtual world. There are real people behind the screens, and you don’t know how your words can effect people. You don’t know someone’s story or what’s going on in their life right at this moment

-Overall, be nice to each other. Lift each other up. Share your creations, share others’ creations, make friends with others in the community, and most importantly, make the community a better place for those who need it.
