A thread:

My cat felt very lonely at his previous owners and at the shelter. (The shelter told us the previous owners werent that nice to him TwT) So hes traumatized by it. He just wanted to feel loved. Now that he is with us, he doesnt want me to feel lonely. Cause it hurt him

Very much in the past. So thats why he comes to sleep with me every night. To protect me, and make me feel less lonely. Thats also the reason why he follows everyone through the house, hes scared to be alone.

Hes just a very special cat to me. I remember that when we picked him up at the shelter, he was just sitting there very sad and tired.

The next day, I was home alone and he started to look around the house more. Then he came down stairs and he wanted something. And I had to follow him to the attic (my room). He didnt like his old food and wanted our food.

So I went and gave him our food. And he liked it. Then he came to me and he was very happy. And he even let me pet him. *I was so shocked cause he only lived with us for a day.* And idk something clicked between us?

A few days passed and he had discovered my room. I walked in on him one day and he got scared cause he was laying on my bed. But I tried to tell him that it was okay for him to lay down on it. And somehow he understood?? The next day he layed down again and I tried to calmly

pproah him. I sat down next to him and he started purring while I cuddled with him.

I still find it crazy that he trusted me so quickly?? I knew him for a day. But like, he was so happy when I understood what he wanted. Does that mean that his old owners didnt understand him? That they didnt understand what he wanted?

What matters to me now is that hes a happy cat and that he feels loved! And I think we are all doing a good job at that c:! Hes our soft cuddly boii and I wouldnt trade him for anything in the world!
