This is what passes for strategic thinking among much of the American far-left today.

It is consumerist logic par excellence. David might as well be shopping for his favorite brand of almond milk -- oh why didn't they stock my favorite product!

What should a principled socialist do instead?

To ask: What are the consequences on people's lives in electing Biden versus electing Trump? Will it be easier or harder to fight for our values under Biden or under Trump?

Why did Bernie ran as a democrat and why did he lose?
In other words, ok we failed to convince enough Democratic voters (which are ordinary working-class Americans, not some extraterritorial 'centrists' imported from Mars) to pick a socialist -- but we won in California and Nevada and Iowa and many other places --- What next?
Zero strategic questions asked, zero look at the history of leftists efforts and their relationship with DP, zero questions about where the American working class is politically...

What are we left with?

"THEY DON'T HAVE MY ALMOND MILK SO I AM GOING HOME"

Petulant disorder!
