I know I’m probably the only one who cares about this (well, maybe @TwinsPrez too), but I continue to be amazed by the incredible weather the Twins would have enjoyed at Target Field this spring if the 2020 season had been played as scheduled. /1
Supposed to storm this weekend? Ha. Today’s game vs. White Sox would be over, completing 4 homestands with zero measurable precipitation and no temps below 45. Twins would have played 29 home games now, more than 1/3 of their Target Field schedule, without so much as a delay. /2
It has rained/snowed, what, four times these two months? Five? But every one came on a scheduled off day, road trip, or like on Saturday, before first pitch.

So how many times have Twins played April/May at Target Field with zero (or even one) weather disruption? Yeah, never. /3
With unbelievable luck like that, I guess what I’m saying is: If Major League Baseball finds a way to play this summer, we should expect the stormiest, wettest July and August in Twin Cities history. /end
